Get the WindTrak 15 on your boat and you will experience the exceptional wind vane performance from Davis Instruments. The WindTrak 15 is a 15" (38 cm) vane with a sapphire jewel bearing and adjustable tracking arms. It 15 comes ready to mount with through-bolt or drill and tap mounting socket of 5/16"-18 stainless stud, washers and nut.
The WindTrak 15 stands 12-3/4" (32cm) tall and comes with a bird-proof spike that extends another 10 inches (24 cm) above the vane to discourage birds from landing. This gives an overall height of 22-3/4" (56cm).
Reflector tape on the WindTrak 15's vane and tacking tabs increase visibility and make for easy use at day and night. WindTrak 15 is a sturdy unit and when installed properly offers many years of use. WindTrak vanes have been wind tunnel tested to wind speeds of 80 knots!
