Vintage original 1958 movie poster lobby cards (each 11” x 14”) for the Warner Bros. hit romantic comedy “Indiscreet” directed by the great Stanley Donen (including Singin’ in the Rain, Funny Face, Damn Yankees & Charade) & starring Cary Grant & Ingrid Bergman. This was Bergman & Grant's 2nd film together, following Alfred Hitchcock’s “Notorious” (1946).
This original vintage 1958 “Indiscreet” set of 8 film theater lobby cards (11” x 14”) from the original release of the film is in very good to very fine condition. The unrestored cards have general wear & tear with edge & corner wear, tiny pinholes in upper left border area. slight creases, no tape marks & light smudges. Overall the lobby cards are in fantastic condition with vibrant colors & stylish midcentury fashions & production designs. This lobby card set is really charming & looks terrific! See images.
Donen only agreed to do the film if he could do it with Grant. Grant agreed but only if his co-star would be Ingrid Bergman.
