This is the largest single Datolite crystal I've come across yet in person (or been able to find on any of the common platforms). It has many perfect crystal faces, a point that I believe is a termination (not 100%, see pic 2) and is in excellent shape with beautiful greens and yellows.
It weighs an estimated 160 grams (estimated because it's glued to the display stand and I don't want to remove, it displays it nicely - but can be removed with heat). Weight with stand is 170 grams.
BONUS: the "ugly" mineral attached to it is actually phosphorescent! I believe it's calcite. When you shine a good UV light on it, the glow remains for a brief second or two after the light is turned off - this is known as phosphorescence.
A beautiful, rare specimen for any collector of less common minerals.
