These are largely based on film scripts for Studio Amanita Satanas that proved too complicated to film, so were turned into prose stories. Frankel made 20 episodes of Little World of Studio Amanita Satanas which aired on regional stations, largely in Massachusetts. These featured animation and small pipecleaner people made out of painted pistachios and acorns and operated as either puppets or marionettes. Includes family histories, short stories and puppets used in animations ("Melamed", "Pistachimo in the circus", "Giuseppe and Pieta", "Pistachimo and the Saurian")
